From the French magazine Guitare Sechè Le Mag; article written by Shai Sebbag, renowned acoustic guitarist: “acoustic guitarist from Brazil, she is the only woman on our list! I met her in a festival in Mexico. I remember when she arrived there well: so humble; so much simplicity. I asked someone who was on my side, who said: “She kills it”. I wasn’t disappointed; Andrea started to play her piece called Tinhosidade. After a quite raditional introduction, Andrea performs an incredible bass riff, played only with her left hand, then, while playing it, she also plays the melody. Andrea also knows how to play “bossa virtuoso”, such as the great Yamandu Costa, in her piece Estreia da Afinco.”

Leonardo Vinhasjournalist, after her performance at Festival Demosul: “Between chords and stories, Andrea Perrone was able to express her musical genius just by the look on the astonished faces in the audience: at the end of each piece, the artist detuned her guitar strings, making each melodic combination sound uniquely chilling. […] After thirty minutes of the show, Andrea was able to convey diverse emotions through her chords and movements, proving that in a universe where melancholic lyrics are overrated, music can be felt even without words being sung.

Aline Yasmin, Managing Director at Espírito Mundo: “more than being a great artist, she is a composer who puts her soul into what she does. Her music, vigorous, brings the language of her time – of the one who runs but at the same time has a nostalgia for a place, for a cherished memory that gradually sets its own time. The strength and vibration of her presence fill spaces of listening and silence. Sharing her talent in European lands, more specifically in Italy – land of her descendants – was an opportunity to witness the live virtuosity that dazzled all those who had the privilege to attend. A cheer, a big cheer for Andrea and her melodies”.
